Streamlining patient data sharing with Objective Connect

Objective Connect has quickly had a positive impact on patient information workflow and has increased efficiency, speed and transparency of that information transfer.

On a constant quest to improve processes and provide the best possible care to patients, Canberra Health Services (CHS) recently focused on improving a very labour-intensive process supporting renal patients across the Southern NSW local area health district.

Caring for renal patients required CHS to share private and sensitive patient information and scans with the NSW area health district and other health services.

This meant saving the files into a temporary network drive, moving the information to a zipped file, emailing the zipped file then following up with a phone call to confirm the files were received and downloaded.

For these patients, often waiting for transplants or other life-saving procedures, time is of the essence, so any time saved in sharing information can make a real difference.
